Some sites' SSL certificates "cannot be verified"

Post by huggy59 » Sat Apr 15, 2017 4:44 am

I recently added a Comodo SSL certificate to a customer's web site and when checking it with Avant Ultimate 2017 builds 3 and 5 (any engine), the address bar shows the certificate error: "The security certificate presented by this website cannot be verified." Why? The site works fine in regular Chrome, FF, and IE browsers. Is there a problem with the Avant security engine?

I experience this also on many sites, so i'm very curious about the answer. Xiaobing? Anderson? tell us.

This is a bug (or feature) AB. I checked sites with "non-verified" certificates in other browsers - there it was all right.
