For this you need a copy of Firefox in your language:

Browse to the chrome folder in Firefox
Copy the .jar and .manifest files to Orca's Chrome folder
- ie ru.jar and ru.manifest
In Orca, go to about:config
Find general.useragent.locale
Change it from en-US to the name of the copied files
- ie if the file was ru.jar then set it to ru
Restart Orca

Note, this will change many other localization strings too.

You're welcome - let me know if it introduces any problems

Note for all users - use the above tip in conjunction with Multilanguage engine tip

Hello,

Sorry i have a very bad english....

I will to use a french dictionnary, but when i'm doing all your tips, i have this message, when i'm launch Orca:
Erreur d'analyse XML : entité non définie
Emplacement : chrome://browser/content/browser.xul
Numéro de ligne 309, Colonne 7 : <menuitem id="context-showimage"

Which version of Orca are you using? Make sure you use the correct Firefox files:

Orca 1.1 build 07 = Firefox 3.0.10 (French version)
Orca 1.2 build 01 = Firefox 3.5 (French version)

It's Orca 1.1 build 7
and i have FireFox 3.5

I did not know that there is a version 1.2

Which version you recommend?

Do I make the 2 manipulations ("about:config" and "chrome://browser/content/preferences/languages.xul"), or just one?

There is an order to do so?

Thank you very much for your help

Try v1.2 which was released today - it uses the newer Firefox code.

You only need to add 2 files: fr.jar and fr.manifest - do NOT overwrite any files.

Follow my previous instructions: go to about:config, find general.useragent.locale, change it to fr

When I added the 2 files, I suppose I should change "about: config"

And do I have to change by going to chrome: / / browser / content / preferences / languages.xul?
Or is it unnecessary?

Yes - and its about:config (no space)
Nicfur wrote:And do I have to change by going to chrome: / / browser / content / preferences / languages.xul?
IIRC that changes something else - the page language, ie Google.com will redirect to Googlr.fr
