The tri-core engine sounds like a really nice, yet useless, feature. I'm glad that Anderson finally realized that IE was an anchor, but it's been three years now, and still no change whatsoever to the most useful feature any browser can possibly have. The ability to extend. I am VERY disappointed.
Cool (useless) feature...

Re: Cool feature...
... Also it's broken. I've installed Avant Browser twice, and only have the options to render in IE compatible or IE9 standard.
I'm not going to touch this or even try to figure it out.

Re: Cool (useless) feature...
One advantage to having the Tri-core engine is that it is easy to switch from one to the other. In general I prefer the IE rendering (I still haven't figured out the difference between the two, but one web site works better using IE compatible). However there are several web sites where IE gives me a screwed up web page, while Firefox gives the correct page. For those I have set a default rendering engine to be Firefox, so I don't have to go through the nuisance of switching when I want to go to any of those sites.
