White Space appears between title bar and web page

Avant V122 running well on all aspects of operation. Have this one issue though. When browsing webpages very often a white space appears, starting at the bottom of the Avant title bar. The length of the space can be 1cm across the width of screen or some other size, or worse case can take the whole of the display. Once it has started to appear, just gets larger over time, never shrinks or goes away. My bug hunt has been...
- Currently using version 122, un-installed and re-installed most versions from 112 & onwards.
- Uninstalled IE8 & reinstalled.
- Uninstalled IE8, reinstalled Windows XP3 via the In-Place Upgrade via Microsoft 978788, then reinstalled all the XP fixes & IE8.

Thoughts & ideas? Wayne.

to begin: yesterday i've re-installed win7, along with the latest version of avant.

now, browsing window can suddenly change itself, going from this:



to this:



what is this bug? how is it fixed? i'm having avant for more than 6 years, and this has never happened before.
window moves less or more on this diagonal line, every time something new.

and, another thing: i've used to open new tabs (and toclose tabs, and to...) by pressing the middle mouse button. now (after the re-installing), all I can do is to scroll the page... i want my middle-click actions back! (to be clear: the relevant options are checked in the options menu)

I've ever seen this problem. Try the latest version - 2010 build 123 or turn off the sidebar view.

Installed version 123 today. The White line issue still exists, and here is another example, white line/bar started at 3cm then moved to whole screen.

Why this picture(download/file.php?id=2596&mode=view) showed the url was different from the actual page? Title bar showed your mail but the content was the forum. How did that happen?

Does the top and left part turn to blank white during you browsing? Does it happen very often? What sort of site is easy to replay the problem? You use win7 32bit or 64bit?

it happens very often, and always after the page has been loaded. I can open a page, browse for an hour, and suddenly it would happen... (so, it's not about opening/loading pages).if i'll re-open the tab using the little '+' button on right-bottom corner, page will be opened OK, but this might happen again in the new tab also. it happens in all kinds of websites. I use 32bit, and my Avant is build123.

To answer your questions in Posts 9 & 11.
- I'm using Win XP3 32-bit
- Frequently occurs, within five minutes or sooner on most Web Pages. Just did it now on this Forum site doing this append.
- White Bar that is created is White.
- Never occured for me prior to 11.7 B46. I thought it started somewhere around 2010 B112.
As occurs so frequently, can try any level you want. Wayne

Yes, please revert to 11.7.46 before we have it fixed.

Backed off from 2010 b123 to 11.7.46. Used the browser for many hours today, not one problem with "white space".
Await the fix, no problem to test before GA if required! Thanks. Wayne.

This is a weird bug: when I move the mouse to the left border of the screen, top part of the AB document becomes white, when I move it again the white part grows (see attached screenshot with part of the window white). If I resize the AB window (NOT minimze), it restores, until I move the mouse to the left border again.
My AB version is 2010 build 123 and I run Win7 Ultimate 64bit on Lenovo X201 laptop.

Since downloading the latest version of Avant I have problems with the page view. When I move my curser to either side of the screen I suddenly get a white strip across the top of the page that pushes the page I'm viewing down the screen. When I try to use the slide bar to go down to the page, the page gets pushed all the way off the screen and can't be retrieved unless I Use the full screen function then restore to normal function.

Also, I cannot connect to my email using the icon on the toolbar. Checked it and it seems setup as usual. A lot of little issues make this update more trouble than it is worth. How do I restore the previous version? It worked great.

Merged the first problem to the old thread. It's a known bug.

What's your office version? Is it the case in old 11.7 build 46?

Simply download and re-install 11.7 build 46 to step back to the old version.

Downgraded to 11.7.B46 and no problems since. Tried 2010 B126 and the problem still appears.
