I have been a big supporter of Avant. I have used it for the last couple of years. I have even donated twice to its development.

I just downloaded and installed version 11.7 b46 and Installed it on my home machine and laptop.

I do NOT appreciate you changing my home page to This should be an option to "uncheck" during the install if you want to include it. You should not force it on us.

If the next update has the same issue, I will be abandoning avant.

Sorry, there was a problem with the installer which caused certain basic settings (home page, default search engine, etc) of some users to reset to default.

Nitehood, sorry for bothering you. The developer designed this way in last release. He will stop changing the default settings without prompting you to accept next time.
Please provide the following information before reporting problems:
Avant Version; System(also point out it is a 32 or 64-bit OS);IE; Memory Size; CPU Speed;
Optional: Firewall; Graphics Card

For the problems hard to replay, could you add me into your MSN or Skype list if you use either of them? The advantage is that you can let us know the situation in the first place by making some screenshots, sharing your screen or explaining the specific problems more clearly when they happen.

maybe before the installation finish, there should be a part somewhere where it ask the user what is his preferred homepage or search engine.
