Orca section locked?

Why must we login to browse the Orca section of the forums? Can't it be like the Avant section, ie anyone can browse, login to post?

The development sections are registered users only and since Orca is still in pre-release development you can't browse it's forums. Once the final is out, Orca will have the same sections as Avant.

Orca has now been released as a final release version :-)

The normal release sections have been activated. The development section will remain for the time being until threads are moved out of there and into one of the relevant sections.

If the Orca development section is locked and going to be removed, should the same apply to the Avant one?

Just locked. The posts won't be moved yet but there is a beta version of Avant out right now although the development section probably could be locked because this will probably be a very short lived beta.
