Great program, thanks.
Having trouble with a few commands though, and cant find answers anywhere else.
Does anybody know how to change song (next and previous track) within windows media player 10? I have read the hotkeyp_EN.txt, and it does state something about this, but i can't get it to work.
I set the command as .exe for WMP, and the parameter as 18811, but all that seems to do is minimise and maximise the program.
Im confused
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post..

The commands may have changed between WMP 9 and WMP 10. You may have to just try different parameters (ie. starting at 18800 and going up from there).

You can use Spy.exe (press Ctrl+Y to run it) to 'read' any action from (almost) any program!I've been looking for the WMP10 commands, but to no avail. There are a few listed on the Microsoft website, but none regarding next/previous track selection Sad

Can this program store snippets of text and then paste them when the hotkey is pressed? If it could, that would be awesome.
Edit: Just downloaded it and tried it. It can. That's awesome. Looks like I've just found myself a new toy.

Good to hear, hope you know that you can use also end of line, date, time... If you still miss something, try to send an email to author, this feature (above) is one of my suggestions. Practically 98% of all features from v3.0 are my suggestions.DrDrrae wrote:Can this program store snippets of text and then paste them when the hotkey is pressed? If it could, that would be awesome.

I found something, maybe you don't know about it, but you can disable/change also system shortcuts like Alt+F4, also for just 1 program, if you close it by accident sometimes, e.g. file manager, when you open and close (with Alt+F4) lot of files (videos). Example:
Hotkey: Alt + F4
Command: Keys to active window
Parameters: \alt freeCommander.exe
Then you can still close it with the mouse - [x] button.
