Well seeing as it is the only broadband that is available to me(except for satellite but they are expensive[how much does a dish cost anyways?]) I think I'm doing OK.

I don't know if it is a coincidence but I tried this stylesheet on my computer and it increased my internet speed.

I suggest you try it out. It can't hurt, can it?

I think I see a good speed increase. Anything that helps IE render faster is O.K. by me!

A couple of sites seemed to load faster than usual with this, but I'm going to keep it regardless.

BTW, my internet is back up to normal speed as of a few days ago.

Test 1--Bandwidth Place:
Communications 999.2 kilobits per second
Storage 122 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 8.4 seconds
Subjective rating Good

Test 2--Bandwidth Place:
Communications 971.8 kilobits per second
Storage 118.6 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 8.6 seconds
Subjective rating Good

Test 3--PCPitstop:
Download Speed 919 Kilobits/second
Download Test Size 800 KBytes
Download Time 6.969 seconds
Receive Buffer Size default size

Test 4--PCPitstop:
Download Speed 714 Kilobits/second
Download Test Size 402 KBytes
Download Time 4.5 seconds
Receive Buffer Size default size

Well, it's better than my last tests, and its near my promised speed. (1.2MB)
