Blink Engine

Post by darth » Wed Oct 15, 2014 3:36 pm

Have'nt used Opera browser in years. So downloaded it 3 days ago.

What a browser. It switched from Presto engine to blink. My perception is it is somewhat faster than Firefox(with only siteadvisor
addon in Firefox.

Still learning somthing new each day about. It gives you a choice of
turning on/off flash on some sites.

Opera and Google did work together on some projects it turns out.

I've been told Opera is now a front end for Chrome.

Thanks for input Mathman. You may be correct

on that.

I believe Blink Engine is a tekeoff from Webkit engine in some ways.

Google and Opera worked together on google's chromiumn (sic)project.

Mayhave misspelled "chromiumn" sorry".
