Is there a speed trap near you?

Might check out www.speedtrap.org on speed traps.

It would be great if it were updated live, the cops move around quite a bit. One good thing about it is it will give a visitor or someone new to the area an idea of where the cops like to play or where they play most often....

You are right Tinman57. I guess the more people report speed traps the more accurate it will be.

What they really need is an app, that when commanded sends a speed trap report with the GPS coordinates. This way it can be updated live and with little interaction while driving. Of course this can also create more problems than it solves if the app's security isn't tight, and may require that GPS tracking to be enabled. I'm sure some smart programmer could come up with a useful app for that reason.....
