Ad Industry Attacks Firefox

Ad industry threatens Firefox users with more ads if Mozilla moves on tracking plans

03.25.2013 12:00 PM
The online ad industry attacked Mozilla over its decision to block third-party cookies in a future release of Firefox, calling the move "dangerous and highly disturbing," and claiming that it will result in more ads shown to users.

Read the article. Most likely FF will keep the option to enable/disable

I think. Javascripts gain such info as it is. Cookies, browser you
using, your monitor height/width.

I got my exanple site when I open it with IE8, IE8 always reports to
me thats its got a sibling called Avant. It does that to the javascript
I wrote.

Of course this example site will report when using FF or Xp safari.

Keep up good work on letting us know about this. Thanks
