How much better is Vista than XP?

A heck of a lot better!

well, i didn't try vista yet, but it seems that they did some good job, yet it is quite expensive for now, and from what i've heard and read, it's quite buggy , and can't run some programs and games.

I wonder...
how many of the users that marked "Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole!", don't have the money or the equipment to run Vista anyway?

Yeah, me too. Although I marked "Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole", and I have the money and the equipment. It just has so many bugs, and every ten seconds a little window pops up that says something like: "Did you see the information bar?" "Are you absolutely sure you want to do that?" "Internet Explorer has just blocked a pop-up." Sure, they can be helpful, while at the same time they can be OBNOXIOUS!!!!!

I don't get all those pop-ups and like I said earlier it runs good for me and fast. The only problem I had was finding a antivirus and firewall that would run flawless on xp and I found it. I install another 1gd of memory and disabled the user account control which turn off all the alerts. I had the same feeling about xp until i got use to it.

Yeah,some online games arn't Vista-compatible yet,but a lot are.
I'm still tweaking my Vista Home Premium to my liking and I have most of the visual niceties turned off until I install more ram.
You can disable the annoying popups if you want.
