Think I wouldn't have tried that...?

Crimson Editor never appeared in that list - same old problem. I suppose I could adapt that little reghack script you posted. But I thought Abfan might have seen a way within CE that I'd missed.

In Crimson Editor go to Tools>Preferences>Tools and check "Use Crimson Editor in Internet Explorer (View Source)".
IE8(Pro), Microsoft Security Essentials
Main PC:

Secondary PC same as primary but with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate as the OS.

Cool, I had missed it! I'd checked the Tool preference branches but overlooked the root.

Works perfectly. Thanks, abfan.

Do you remember where I posted that? I just did a search and couldn't find it.

I use BBEdit on my Mac. ;)

Image

It has an incredible find & replace regex feature. Like.. I can for example change a list like this:

Code: Select all

1, 2, 3, 4,
into something like this:

Code: Select all

<a href="http://www.1.com">1</a>
<a href="http://www.2.com">2</a>
<a href="http://www.3.com">3</a>
<a href="http://www.4.com">4</a>
with a search like this:

Find:

Code: Select all

(.*),
Replace:

Code: Select all

<a href="http://www.\1.com">\1</a>\r
:D
