Where can I get the latest version of Quicktime...

Post by Circumlocutus » Fri Nov 18, 2005 3:29 am

...without iTunes 6 tagging along?

After reinstalling Windows, I went to download the latest version of Quicktime (V7?) from Apple, but I could only find links to download it which installed iTunes along with Quicktime.

So is there a hidden link with which I can download Quicktime alone?

I wouldn't bother with the official player... QT alternative is much more efficient IMO,

iTunes is excellent software, but here is the Windows standalone Quicktime installer:

How do you get to that page from the main QuickTime download page?

I'm just curious to see if I completely missed the link.

After you click download, there is a link on the right for 'QuickTime Standalone Installer'.

But, I just googled it.
