For those of you who use TGTsoft's StyleXP themer program for XP... BEWARE!

ALL of the themes and visual styles at ThemeXP.org now come loaded with the Acoona toolbar. You canNOT install your theme without installing the toolbar. I think this SUCKS. I won't be returning to ThemeXP.org again. :(

MysteryFCM: Changed Accoona URL to Sunbelt writeup to prevent accidental installation

-- Thanks, Steven... I didn't realize the link to the search engine would load the toolbar. My proxy probably blocked it from happening when I went there. ~Eric

YUP! It SUCKS! It's deceptive and underhanded. They should offer the toolbar on their site, not force it down your throat.

And jkdclick, you may think you're uninstalling it, but I bet that **** is all over your registry still. :(

You should probably run Hijack Thisand a good registry cleaner like CCleaner to remove any traces of that crud.

CCleaner is relatively self-explanatory. However, Hijack This is a little more complicated. You can read a tutorial on how to use Hijack This HERE.

Luck!

Yea, I usually just get the ones that are zipped... but even they are getting hard to find. For a while you could just unzip the EXE... but they have fixed most of them as well now.

Time for a new theme site (but they had such a nice big selection to go through though :( )
