I need all of your help!

Post by Coolnat2004 » Fri Sep 23, 2005 1:55 am

Hi everyone. My school is in this contest that requires people to vote for the school over and over, the school with the most votes gets a free wireless lab.

If you would be so kind as to help us get up there (we started sorta late) that would be great.

All you have to do is go to this URL:
http://futureready.org/school/?pid=01822100
and enter the verification code and click vote/enter. You then get another code to enter, where you can vote again. Votes need to be about 8 seconds apart to count.

I know that the code is hard to read sometimes but it is nothing I can fix. It used to be worse, sooo.

If you have any free time I would like you to vote as much as possible! Any time of day, from any computer!

Thanks for all of your help!

What do you mean, "wireless lab"? Only one room with wireless or the entire school or something else?

Just to make you mad, my school just put in wireless for all the students to use this school year. It's awesome because I can surf the net all day on my laptop.

Edit: I found the prize package on the site. It looks pretty cool.

Why do they make it so hard to see? I got 3 votes in then I couldn't read them anymore...

You guys rock!

I don't know why the code is so hard to read, everyone is having trouble with that.

By wireless lab, it is a cart with laptops in it, and a printer and a wireless access point. We have an older one with some 30 laptops, but they are all old and some of them don't work well. A new one would be great since our school's computer fund is horrible..

Though they keep springing for the LCDs and graphics card updates and CD burners.. It makes no sense at all.

Wireless in the whole school would be nice, but it being a public school no one would bring in a laptop, and I know I wouldn't want to with the people that are there.. I don't even leave my iPod in my locker so I keep it in my pocket guarding it with my life..

That and the power keeps going out in my computer class :-\
I think they are fixing it right now though, just really annoying when your Pentium 2 machine running Windows XP and Office 2003, which is slow already, shuts off when you don't save, and then takes 10 minutes to boot back up, and 2 minutes to log in, and after all that no one thought to turn the file server back on..

Edit: I made a stats page maybe you guys would like to take a look at it? http://stat.nathanbolender.com
