Apart from a couple of annoying niggles, I love Avant and went to donate by PayPal a sum I thought reflected the worth I put on the product.
However on reading the terms and conditions, it appears to say that if I donate through PayPal I MUST agree to Digital River's Terms and Conditions, one of which is that I must accept emails from them.
Is this correct and if so why do I have to do this?
Is there a better way to donate where you simply give some money? Without signing up to God knows what kind of crap off some intrusive company?

OK perhaps a good idea then maybe to simply have PayPal, then we don't have to be forced into accepting some arrogant companies spam when we try to show our support for you.

Things happen for a reason and I'm glad I didn't donate anyway as Avant now is hugely unreliable and I'm on the lookout for a better one
