RSS feed "view source" is sticky

Post by rincenator » Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:39 am

Hello,

When I open an RSS feed, I automatically get the RSS reader. This is great, but when you do 'View --> Source', Avant browsers seems to remember this and never displays the RSS reader for that page again. Other pages work fine, until you view the source. I've tried this for 10 pages and I cannot open them in de RSS reader now.

Regards,

Raymond

I already tried that, and that doen't work either. Sorry, I should have put that in my first mail. I have attached a screenshot:

Screenshot of feed
And yes I've tried F5, refresh and opening the feed in a new window.

That url will open in version 10.2 build 25 using http:// or feed:// without problems.

Thanks! But I use 11.5 build 20. And I don't say that only this feed doesn't open. EVERY feed I open works perfectly, until you do: View --> Source. After that it NEVER opens again (with http nor feed).

Can't confirm.
What's your IE version?
Please try to go to Bookmarks>RSS>Add New RSS
Paste the address and access it through the Bookmarks>RSS menu.

Doesn't work either, but the duikkaart.nl feed works now, so perhaps it's a feed problem.

Could you try this one?

http://www.nu.nl/deeplink_rss2/index.jsp?r=Algemeen

All the feeds on this page have this problem:

http://www.nu.nl/rss
