Add to favorites - they are not in order. Help

Post by ed_herman » Sun May 24, 2009 11:28 pm

When I want to add a site to my favorites, the favorites to be added to appear to be random, not in order. Is there a setting I need to change to make them alphabetical? I am using IE favorites. Thank you.

In the bookmarks menu, you can right click on an entry and select Sort by Name, Sort byVisited, or Sort by Created.

Thank you for your reply. I don't want to sort my favorites by name. I have arranged them as I like them. My post refers to when I want to add a new site to my favorites, the list to be added to are not in order.

If l understand you correctly, add your list to Bookmarks, then left-click and hold>drag up or down to the desired position. They should remain there each time you open Bookmarks, the same for sub-menu.
