Hi i was hoping someone could help me.
whenever i try to launch avant from the shortcut windows keeps prompting me to send an error report. whether i choose the option to send it or not avant doen't launch.
It only launches when i manually open the EXE file. but even when i do that every few minutes the error report will keep poping up again.

Also on exiting, this error message keeps popping up:
Service "Avant Service" failed to uninstall with error: "System Error. Code: 1060. The specified service does not exist as an installed service"

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling avant but this still occurs.
This only happened after i installed the latest avant.

I hope someone can advise.
Thanks in advance.

First, you might want to right-click on the shortcut you're clicking to open Avant, choose Properties and see what's in the Target line. There's no reason I can think of why Avant would start one way and not the other.

I checked the target line and its the correct thing that leads to the EXE file.
The quick launch works if i click it a few times but yea the error keeps popping up despite it launching. At first i thought maybe its cause my com is slow to load but it loads on the 2nd click or so i have no clue why
