disable icon and X in tabs?

Post by jimspoon » Fri Oct 13, 2006 5:17 pm

Instead of the icon and the X in the tab, I'd rather that all of the tab space be used to display the web page title.

I don't suppose there's a way to disable the icon and the X? If so I haven't found it.

I know that the whole title is displayed in a tooltip but still would like to be able to get rid of the icon and the X.

You can't get rid of the icon but you can get rid of the X.Check Tools>Tab Options.
IE8(Pro), Microsoft Security Essentials

Secondary PC same as primary but with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate as the OS.

You don't get a lot of space back though. The tabs are designed with a gap at the end so that all the titles don't run together. The X goes in that gap.

Bummer! Well, then, anyway to limit the extent to which AB narrows the tabs as they increase in number? I would rather have more wide tabs in more rows than very narrow tabs in fewer rows.
