Hilight URL

Post by JoeVB » Thu Oct 12, 2006 12:30 am

In version 10.x when I opened a new tab, the text of the address in the address bar would be selected. In v 11 it doesn't act this way. Where is the setting for this so I can change it back?

Thanks

It sounds like you're having the issue described in this thread. Can you confirm?

Well kind of...I am not double-clicking to open a new tab. When I open a new tab I use the right-mouse button and move up (Tools | Avant Browser Options | Mouse | Mouse Gestures). Sometimes I use CTRL+N.

Either way, what I notice is the new tab open, then 'about:blank' is actually highlited for a fraction of a second until it opens my home page. For my home page I am using an HTML file on my hard drive, not a web site. When the address of my home page is presented in the address bar, the hilighting of the address is gone.

Hoep this helps.
