Honestly, how do you know he isn't asking authors for permission?

One reason is because all the original authors will ask that some credit is given to them if you use their work.
Some do, some don't care.  The icons I have done that were my own, I don't care really.

Hey great work, but I get the impression you are ripping other's artist work without even asking for his permision.... most of your skins I have to say. Might be from MyIE2 or from the original icons author, either way, permission should be asked.

There are many other skins made for AB that this applies to :(

You may think it doesn't matter but skinning communities are not liking this kind of disrespect at all! In other words you are giving Avant a bad name. This is a piece of advice, take it or not.

TomServo, I apologize if my impression wrong.
I did state where they come from.  And the author gave permission in a readme to use the icons elsewhere, but I do have an email sent to him for the "official" blessing.

My beOS skin is actually built off of screenshots of the dead OS.

Generally, 95% sure, the skins here have been given a blessing or notification of creation.

Personally, I have never looked at a MyIe2 skin.  Never used the browser either.  As I said, this skin is from the Linux KDE icon set.

As for the skinning and bad name portion.. you would be the first and only that's brought it up.. and I havn't noticed anything about it elsewhere.

Whatever you say, I don't feel like wasting my time talking to a narrow mind, I can see I'm not welcomed here...

Picto....you are certainly welcome here if you approach people in the proper way......but you come with accusations that you cannot prove......and, by the way, I sent you an email several months ago requesting your permission to use the icons from one of your skins, although I do not recall now which skin........and you didn't even bother to reply.........so, I did not do the skin.

We are currently migrating all the skins to the new download site. I'm not sure if this one is available yet, you can look, but eventually it should be,

I have uploaded it to the skin site from my skins area.......if it has been updated since creation, TomServo will need to update it.
