Can Keyboard Shortcuts Be Disabled?

Post by rcmartin » Thu Jun 24, 2010 5:43 pm

I have an web site application that requires certain function keys (F3, F6, etc.) that are instead being handled by the browser as shortcut keys, therefore rendering them useless for the application.

Is there a way that I can prevent these function keys to be handled as shortcuts?

Are you saying that on your desktop the short cuts do not work with your mouse it should. I never use key board for anything except control alt and delete. But i have not had to use it i have my mouse plugged in to a usb port . :)

Huh?

The OP wants to be able to override or disable Orca's hotkeys so that the corresponding keys can be used as designed in your web app.

Currently... no. There is no way to disable the shortcut keys in Orca (or Avant, for that matter).
