Re: FasterFox
I tried to run it but could not find a "Profile" file in the apps folder. Any idea which file might be the Orca version of FF profile file?

Re: FasterFox
orry. I referred to SpeedyFox

Re: FasterFox
FasterFox is only for Requires Firefox 1.5 - 2.0 so won't work with Orca.
I shall test SpeedyFox shortly...

Re: FasterFox
OK, start SpeedyFox, for profile choose "custom", then browse to:
"C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Orca Profiles\.default\mozdata\UserData\"
or for Vista / Win7 (please correct me if I am wrong):
"C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Orca Profiles\.default\mozdata\UserData\"
Note that Orca must be closed for optimisation to occur.

Re: FasterFox
FasterFox 3.7.0 and FasterFox Lite 3.8.2 do both work - but you have to restart Orca for changes to take effect.
EDIT: xGrind - will you please stop deleting your posts, it looks like I'm talking to myself :-/

Which file do I attach? What is the file name?
Re: FasterFox
It is looking for a folder not a file name - also there was a little error in my post and I have corrected the path.

Re: FasterFox
WOW FasterFox screwed everything up for me. Had to completely uninstall and re-install Orca.
Re: FasterFox
Really? Worked fine for me, although I'm using XP.ftboomer wrote:WOW FasterFox screwed everything up for me. Had to completely uninstall and re-install Orca.
Did you not backup the folder first...?

Re: FasterFox
Silly Kudos. Of course I did not back up. It worked on single pages but not on opening 20 tabs. Whole browser just froze up.kudos wrote:Really? Worked fine for me, although I'm using XP.ftboomer wrote:WOW FasterFox screwed everything up for me. Had to completely uninstall and re-install Orca.
