I've been using Avant for years already, always thought it was a fantastic browser. Tried some other browsers, always came back to Avant. Even firefox, which i thought had some cool features, failed to hook me. But now I tried Orca browser, and its perfect. Has the features I liked from firefox, has the look and feel of avant, is even faster then avant, i think. Just love it!
So thanks to the developers, I hope you will keep up the good work. I'm making a donation

I love Orca too
I have used many browsers before Orca, including Avant and none have stolen my heart the way Orca has !
Maybe it's due to the fact that Firefox always seems to crash my systems , but that big carrot of extensions/add-ons always hangs in front of my browser face.
Thus Orca is the answer for me!
PS-I always go out of the way to promote it on my websites/forums

Yes. But Orca has a big problem! It is forgotten and thrown. Anything new. For a long time it is not updated.

There probably won't be any more updates for Orca. The latest plan is for the firefox engine (as well as Chromes engine) to be integrated into Avant. I guess you would then be able to choose what engine AB uses...

I just received an email from my sister asking, "what's your favorite browser?"
I explained that it's ORCA and gave her a run down on what I like about it. It surprises me that there will be no further updates for Orca. That tells me it eventually will become so outdated that we'll have to abandon it. That is sad. I guess the developers decided that their long term best bet is Avant.
I simply have kept using Orca for years now. Avant is great, but Orca just is perfect for my needs.
Firefox is almost too perfect. I love t, but it's considerably slower opening up.
Specifically here's what I love about Orca:
1. The auto fill capability is dependable and simple to use. I finally discovered by accident one day that I don't even need to go to the web page to use it. Auto fill will take me there.
2. Orca has Firefox's defenses against flash and ads. Indispensable and it works.
3. I love the Dskcut add on and could not live without it. Also, the UNmht add on.
4. It open fast and if problems develop with the browser, I know what steps to take to renew it and get it on track again.

I love Orca too! Avant will be the second browser for me.
I love the fact that it doesn't really crash my PC like firefox, and I can still use it as if I was using firefox. Very good idea
I'll absolutely recommend this to all of my friends!
LOVE IT!
