More intuitive context menu

Post by Dreamer » Fri May 08, 2009 7:11 pm

I'm using few context menu items very often, but there are too many items there and it's quite confusing, also because the order of items is different from Avant. It's a pain to save the image, or copy link location.

My suggestions:

1. Add icons to some, frequently used items:

- copy
- paste
- copy link location
- save image as

There are such icons for some extensions. Perhaps the icons from the floating toolbar might be used.

2. Click and hold the image and drag away (as a current option to open the link in new tab) to quickly save the image.

3. Click and hold the link and drag away - add option to copy link location instead of current action (open the link in new tab).

4. Other (customizable) mouse shortcuts to copy link location and save image, for example: Ctrl+left click.
