New user but need advice
Hi To all knowledgeable Wizards of the Orca
After have a month of major issues with Avant Browser I have moved over to Orca everything seems to be running fine apart from the following.
When I load up Orca I get the following script error message
Warning: Unresponsive script
Script: chrome://reporter/content/reporterOverlay.js:67 any one have a solution for this?
The box that allows you to save offline will not let me switch it off I think this be something to do with the above script error?
Also when I log in to say eBay or any site that requires a username and password, Avant Browser would retain the username and password Orca retains the username but no password?
If any one is interested in the issues I had with Avant Browser you can view my post here http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic ... 21&t=28763
I look forward to your help.

Re: New user but need advice
Hi Kudos
For your prompt reply.
Lets see if I have this right
(i) What is listed in: Tools >> Mozilla Addons >> Extensions
I have gone to Tools but I do not see Mozilla Addons? I do see Add-ons which when clicked opens a mini windows with four tabs as follows Web Serach -- Extensions -- Themes -- Plugins, the Extension one is empty
(ii) Tools >> Orca Browser Options... >> Auto-Complete >> Prompt to save logins
The Prompt to save logins was checked so I have unchecked it?
Again thanks I don't suppose you know anything about my Avant Browser issues do you??

Yes that's it, depending on your language, it may be listed as : Tools >> Addons
What is shown as build identifier when you type into the address bar: about:
I shall take a very quick look at your Avant posing..

Thanks. OK, that's the latest version. Have you installed a custom Firefox theme?
Make sure that "Default" is selected at: Tools >> Mozilla Addons >> Themes

Kudos
You have lost me on this one, only have the set up Orca provides.
Still getting the script error message, and still having to input passwords.

Re: New user but need advice
Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Orca in case the mentioned file (reporter.jar) is corrupt?
Anyway, if so then try this:
- Close Orca (make sure that it is fully closed)
- Open up a command prompt
- Paste the following (including quotes):
This will backup/rename your settings folder with the current date and time (we can move them back later).
Then try running Orca again.

ren "%appdata%\Orca Profiles\.default\mozdata\" "mozbackup %DATE:/=% %TIME::=%"
Then try running Orca again.
