how do I adjust download actions

Post by FrizzleFry » Mon Nov 10, 2008 7:51 am

When you download a file their is a checkbox to "do this automatically...", how do I adjust what is done automatically? When the checkbox is clicked there is a note to go to the Applications tab in Orca options to adjust but I cannot find this Applications tab :(

I set my options in the about:config page. Here is what I have configured on my system:

Setting name:

browser.helperApps.alwaysAsk.force

set it to

false

Setting name:

browser.helperApps.neverAsk.saveToDisk

set it to

application/x-msdos-program, application/x-unknown-application-octet-stream, application/vnd.ms-powerpoint, application/excel, application/vnd.ms-publisher, application/x-unknown-message-rfc822, application/vnd.ms-excel, application/msword, application/x-mspublisher, application/x-tar, application/zip, application/x-gzip,application/x-stuffit,application/vnd.ms-works, application/powerpoint, application/rtf, application/postscript, application/x-gtar, video/quicktime, video/x-msvideo, video/mpeg, audio/x-wav, audio/x-midi, audio/x-aiff

You can add or remove more types as required.
