new Orca use

I just installed Orca to see if it avoids some problems I was having with Avant. I have some questions: 1. Some of the Avant bookmarks did not migrate to Orca. Is there any way to remedy/update this?
2. My "Links" bar that I have on Avant is not shown by Orca, though the Links folder in Bookmarks was copied by Orca bookmarks.
3. The PageUp, PageDown, CTRL-End, CTRL-Home does not work (though once in a great while, after I use and the refresh some pages, it does). How can I fix this? Is it a Windows (2000) problem?

Thanks for any help.

1. Copy the bookmarks folder from Avant's settings to Orca's

Code: Select all

copy "%appdata%\Avant Profiles\.default\bookmarks\" "%appdata%\Orca Profiles\.default\bookmarks\" /Y
2. The Links Bar is a feature of Internet Explorer - I don't think that Orca/Firefox directly supports it - although there may be an extension that does.

3. Click the page first - there is a reported bug that the page does not take focus automatically.

2. You can abandon bookmarks altogether and use favourites: Tools >> Orca Browser Options... >> Miscellaneous >> then select >> Use IE Favourites as bookmarks
