New Version Crashes in Chrome
Toshiba Satellite Laptop, Windows 10, 64 bit, over 300Gb free, Avant Browser 2017 build 12, 11.25.2017. Using Chrome as Default Engine. Have crashed on imgur.com a few times (but not everytime) and some other sites, able to go to many webpages without any type of problem. Have not noticed a certain thing setting off these crashes. Crash during video, gif, pictures, documents... Sometimes only the browser crashes (after waiting am asked if I want to close browser), some of the times freezes Windows, causing a need to do a Windows cold reboot (or perhaps I am too impatient and don't wait long enough). After crash of either kind, when browser is launched, the browser loads as if it is newly installed, my settings are gone, no special preferences, no resized window...however google is still set-up, cookies are still there, passwords still work. After setting up all of my settings, it will work well until (eventually) it runs into some problem. Am getting a couple of crashes a day. Out of possibly 2+ hours a day of browsing. In Avant Settings I have no add-ons/plug-ins, no help. Set Pop-up Blocker off, Ad-Blocker is on, no help. This problem has only happened lately (perhaps since installed latest version about 12-25-17). Have checked the Avant Forum for any common problems, did not find any.

Re: New Version Crashes in Chrome
just 1 advice
Make a back-up under Tools --> Make back-up/restore profiles
You can always put your configuration back then after a crash with a few clicks (saves you a lot of time)
