I've been using this thing since 2009. Will this ever get fixed?

I've been using this thing since 2009. Will this ever get fixed?

This thing crashes daily. Constant locking up and having to go into Task Manager to kill it. Am I the only one this happens to? I can't believe I still put up with this. I'm using Firefox and the only Addons I have are Acrobat and Shockwave and those are set on 'Ask to Activate'. I'm constantly having to click on buttons so it won't open Acrobat (virtually every site).

Used to be a dialog box would come up and show which 'module' failed. Don't see much of that anymore. It just locks up, the menu bar goes cloudy and I have to kill it. At least when I restart it, it usually remembers which sites were open. Some consolation. Going on seven years using this with multiple Windows installs and it's been the same headache over and over.

Does anyone know of another browser that the menu bars can be customized like Avant? It's a shame because Avant is the most customizable browser out there.

The latest version has helped with the crashing. Much better. It's only locked up once in the last ten days or so.

Bad part... Google maps is now painfully slow using Firefox. The satellite mode is close to being unusable with extremely slow scrolling. Chrome woks fine but unfortunately, I don't like the look of it.

What is with you guys? It's as if you don't ever want to get this thing to work. In my opinion, it's never, ever, worked properly. The last version that had the least issues was 191.

What a surprise.... It's back to crashing full time.

Now there's another issue when using Firefox.

When I click on a link that shows just an individual photo, it pushes it up and partially out of the browser window. I can see only the bottom half of the photo.

This does not happen with IE or Chrome.

You're using the latest version? This issue, already reported, has been solved for everyone else.

Hey, I just wanted to throw in that I was going to put a link in my post where I typed "already reported" and (you can look at my old posts to verify) I always put my links in bold. I got sidetracked when I was typing that post and, I guess, never put the link to the thread.

Without it, I look like a jerk scolding you that something was already reported. That wasn't my intention.
