Tabs crashing on all engines - Ultimate 2016 build 2

Post by yadran » Tue Feb 16, 2016 8:21 pm

This is getting pretty annoying - no matter what rendering engine is used with the latest build 2 tabs/pages crashing (turn to purple) all the time, even if just one or two tabs are opened! Most of the time pages do not even open?! Troubles like these were happening before with the older versions, but now all looks much worse.
This is happening both on Windows 8.1 and 10 Home versions. On a desktop computer (AMD config.) as well as on a notebook (Intel config.)

Yeah, same here. It's been crashing like the Hindenburg all day long. I only use webkit and trident engines for the most part.

Windows seven ultimate, here.

Same for me with Windows 10 Pro and was happening before with Windows 7 Ultimate...I have over a dozen tabs open and especially when going through my Facebook I can see the ram drain happening and then it crashes....Previous builds have had this issue but this is getting worst...Thinking of moving to something else as this is an issue having to close and reopen all the time...

Thing is, I can't tell for certain if the memory leak belongs to avant or the rendering engines.

I don't have this issue when not using Avant so it's clear it is an Avant issue...

Keep in mind that Avant is loading all of these external engines as dlls, and the biggest problem seems to be releasing memory back to the OS. It seems to be a problem in other shell browsers like Maxthon, too. I notice that flash player makes it worse.
