Post by matsuda0707 » Wed Dec 30, 2015 1:18 am

After updating Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems 用 Internet Explorer Flash Player security (KB3132372) today, Avant (IS11 mode) can not play flash movies , for example, You tube movies (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJrjBN8_OW0)
But AB can play flash movies on Chrome and Firefox mode!!!

After updating flash player (KB3132372) , Avant causes frequent application errors and so I almost can not use Avant for daily use.

Fault application: xbrowser.exe、version: 12.5.0.0、time stamp: 0x5676f309
Fault moduke name: Flash.ocx、version: 20.0.0.267、time stamp: 0x567b3186
exception code: 0xc0000005
fault offset: 0x008cf633
fault process ID: 0x1cdc
fault application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Avant Browser\xbrowser.exe
fault module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\Macromed\Flash\Flash.ocx
report ID: a45e2cda-7cac-4fce-b482-823e4a231138

So I hope you check Avant behavior after installing the above update (KB3132372) and fix this problem as soon as possible.

It's better to use html5 instead of flash where possible anyway. Visit https://www.youtube.com/html5 to enable it for Youtube.

This problem is caused by the Windows updates (KB3132372). All the IE based browsers have been affected. It may cause webpage crash, freeze and turn to blank. Some applications/games which call IE rendering engine have the same problem. Even some chrome function which involved in flash may have problem(webpage auto refresh).
No good solution currently, we have to uninstall the KB3132372 and wait for Microsoft to repair this problem.

I confirmed the internet option is not affected by Avant 2016 build 2,
As for the Windows updates (KB3132372), I know the flash movies problem is caused by Windows updates (KB3132372). Many users post thee same issues in MS community! I hope that it will be fixed by extra MS updates soon.
However I can not understand why flash cause many problems!
