Bananabread WebGL application not working

Post by sulpherdragon » Thu Sep 27, 2012 9:56 am

I haven't been able to get this page to run the content without crashing.

https://developer.mozilla.org/media/upl ... ml?low,low

It crashes and shows this:

It runs fine in Firefox browser, but not in Avant using Firefox renderer.

On my XP SP3 machine under IE8 it comes up as a 404: cannot be found. Obviously something was wrong with the page and they took it down. Probably a bad script, or compromised.....

I can't open it either in all the browsers:IE9, Chrome, firefox

Please provide the following information before reporting problems:
Avant Version; System(also point out it is a 32 or 64-bit OS);IE; Memory Size; CPU Speed;
Optional: Firewall; Graphics Card

For the problems hard to replay, could you add me into your MSN or Skype list if you use either of them? The advantage is that you can let us know the situation in the first place by making some screenshots, sharing your screen or explaining the specific problems more clearly when they happen.

Then try accessing with this link instead:
http://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/demo ... ead/launch

This works fine in current Firefox and Chrome.

IE cannot run this because this is a WebGL demo and IE does not support WebGL.
Older versions of Safari lack Float64Array support and cannot run the compiled code. Try with Safari 6.
Mesa on Firefox 15 on Linux does not support compressed textures, but it works in Firefox 16.

The link posted by bksening is the same webpage that I was trying to link.
It crashes in Avant on both the Firefox and Chrome engines.
In the Firefox engine, the loading bar reaches 10% and the page freezes and shows the error from earlier.
In the Chrome engine, it reaches 100%, but still freezes at that point and shows the same error.

It makes any difference if you disable all your extensions under Firefox/chrome engine?
