Post by DaComboMan » Sat Jun 30, 2012 4:17 pm

Haven't tried them out yet, but CTRL+Q doesn't seem to work.

Works here.

What rendering mode do you use?

I've tried both. Neither work for me.
I know Outlook uses CTRL+Q to mark a message as read but even if it isn't running,
i still can't get it to work in AB.

I saw in the Help that ctrl+Q is the shortcut of "Quick search keywords in the address box"
I never used this feature before. How to use it?
Type keywords in address bar and then press ctrl+Q? If so, it works here.

You're right AbelAbel!

Please excuse me, i mistook it for a kind of equivalent to CTRL+E in IE which brings you to the url box.
It seems F6 does the trick.
Using maximized more often now (handy for laptops), it would be nice if we were also lead right into the url box at the same time (when maximized). Know what i mean?

The cursor/focus switch to address bar automatically when maximizing Avant?

BTW, alt+D can also bring you to the address bar.

Yes, when IE is maximized and i hit CTRL+E, cursor goes straight to url box and i can begin to type whatever and it even does a web search as you know.
