If I go to the new built in downloader ie "Download all"

Select say "jpg" extension only and return to the main window, nothing changes and going back to the select file type to download the selected type is unchecked.

So the selective file download doesn't work

Are you using AB downloader?
I don't remember there is an option to select file extensions,can you show me a screenshot? Or it just happens on special download links?

Of course I'm using AB - this option has only appeared with the latest version - How can you not see it? but it's useless! It doesn't work!

Right click context menu select "Download all"

Selecting eg .jpg should auto select all jpgs on page but it does nothing!

Ok I see now you have to select the server it works then, thanks
But if you people don't know how these new features are supposed to work
how are we to figure it out?
Need more detail/help on new features sometimes.
Eg I had to ask elsewhere what "split view" was for.
The help seems out of date missing many features.
