It is slow. I does some wierd thing with the ybrowser and wont allow other windows in focus to go infront of it, so i have to minimize it first to open, say Word.

Atleast (so far) i dont have to end-task avant.exe and loose my settings... (used to 2-3 times a week)... it was terrible.

I have been using avant for atleast 5 years and sadly, it appears to be getting worse :(

What do you mean? Explain more in detail? Do you use latest v2011 build 16?

For the latest release your problem is on earth getting better or worse?

If I open Avant on my PC. Open 2-3 windows, surf away, then say open an application (any) it does not go in to the background when I bring the new app to the foreground, it is a very difficult thing to explain. Basically, ybrowser.exe is causing several issues which I am going to try and explain when I can figure out how!

For the latest version, if I crash/endtask avant.exe it does not loose the settings, which is great news.

I am using 2011 16.

Here is what happened today for me...

1) I had 4-5 windows open working away. I tried to MOVE Avant to the left, the entire top tool bar and icons went BLACK & MISSING.

2) I end-tasked Avant.exe, re-opened and it kept my settings (horray!)

3) I re-loaded 3 of the previous pages and then I was UNABLE to click the Address/Tabs for each one. When I did, they never depressed or showed any indication of being selected. HOWEVER, if I clicked 2-3 times it would switch to different windows.

This ybrowser, with some sites, tends to get "hung up". For example, I would open my Yahoo Email, then browse away, and after an hour or two, the ybrowser that contained yahoo would be like 150+mb of memory usage? Really strange things like that do happen.
