Slight UI bug in AB 2010 Bld 126 French version

Are you sure the screenshot is from Avant but not from Orca?

Yes I'm sure. I didn't install Orca at all. I enclose a full AB screenshot to prove and the same with IE.
BTW I just noticed that all messages in A-B status bar that should contain this letter have the same problem.

I downloaded and installed the absetup from avant site : IT's FIXED !

OK, I've found the problem !
When installing AB, I was deleting all language files but eng and fre (since I don't need other languages).
When you do this, you immediately find the problem.
I reinstalled keeping all language files and it works.
Now I don't understand why ...!
Actually, AB is set up when UK english and I was deleting the euk file !
You might improve AB to overcome this (even though it is a user error).

Still show "u" instead of "e" when you only having eng.lng & fre.lng on the disk?
It showed "e" alright again if you having all language packs left?

Even if you remove the "Lang" folder, Avant still shows English interface by default.

Then it still whows "u" instead of "e".

BTW : Generally I don't like software that installs all languages regardless of what's used and useful. I prefer those which ask for which languages to install and install only those.

Ok, what files are listed in the Lang folder in the end(after you removed whatever you didn't want).

If you've deleted euk.lng how do you know you're using euk interface after restarting the browser? I said, if the Lang folder is empty(no files), Avant use the content from eng.lng as interface language, which had been coded into the program.

First choose English UK via Tools/interface language. Then delete the eul.lng file from Lang folder.

I did a simple test to go further : Choose English UK (or whatever), then remove the whole Lang folder. As soon as you restart Avant, status line "e" change to "u" (and other strange other changes).

So you statement must be refined : Without any lng file, Avant doesn't strictly change to english, it changes to something else (OS default ?). I also tried to empty the folder leaving only eng.lng file, the problem is still there.
