Sick of copying and pasting your code into Avant Browser to test if it works?
Dont want to write in that tiny Avant addon window?

Prototype your plugins in your favourite Text Editor. (I Recommend http://www.textpad.com/)

With this plugin, you can directly edit a .js file on your harddrive.
When you have the code perfected, copy and paste it from your file into a plugin and upload it to the Avant Forums.

Just remember to turn the plugin off when your not developing with it, just incase.

Simply edit the plugin to point to a file your working on. Use double back slashes in your URL's ( "\\" ).

I hope this encourages and increases plugin productivity for Avant.
Code is from David Flanagan's http://www.phpied.com

Enjoy ;)

It only occured to me the some of you might want to make buttons, instead of auto execs (didnt think of that!) and the logical approach would be turn the code into button.
The cool thing is, it works as a button because of the way the code integrates itself into the pages.

All thats new is a nice icon for convenience.

Also thanks guys for giving me Contributor status, its really appreciated :)
