What is the rule concerning a particular Avatar and Signature use. Are these approved?

Hi kudos, I get an error "You are not authorised to read this forum." when trying to view the above link ( the URL of which is: http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic ... 23&t=14416 )

But this one seems to work for me: http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic ... 13&t=14416

The difference in the URL is f=13 instead of f=23. Is the different f value significant?

Yes, from time to time l read these.
Let me be a teeny bit more specific. Do all avatars and signatures posted since 30 May have the approval of the Admin`s?

(on my screen your link tells me l am `not authorised to view`. Little gremlin in there)

f=23 is a private staff only forum.

ReleaseRoderick, I'm not sure what you're asking about?

The f is not actually required if the two address have the same t=number.. Which is the case with the rules topic: http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic.php?t=14416 will work just fine.. If the topic itself is within a restricted forum then you won't beable to get to it then either. He just happened to pick the link from with in a staff specific forum which would be number 23.

Yes, MysteryFCM. I will take guidance from the Administrators as to whether l should name the offending Avatar and Signature in a post, a Pm to Admin or to refrain from all further comment.

I have recently made use of the Foes facility on the User Control Panel.

I think it's best not to post publically in case it offends others.

EDIT - oops, beaten to it...

you know... I'm sittin here thinkin about it, and as far as I can tell, I'm the only one here with an even remotely offessive avatar (though i'm not sure why), but then again I don't pay too much attention to avatars. it's not me is it? I'll take it off if it is.

I personally don't think it's offensive, but it's the only one that I've really noticed that might qualify as offensive. I guess some people might not like Family Guy, or some might see it as "insensitive to overweight people". I just don't see/notice any other avatars that might be offensive, or maybe it's already taken care of and I missed it.

Well, to be real honest, I doubt we have any users that would take offense to a fallout avatar. They would need to be alittle old to remember what fallout drills in school felt like...
