What makes you say that 3.0.5 is imminent Kudos? I mean obviously its been 4 months since the last release but a beta isn't even out yet.

As a website developer, who uses mainly PHP, I know what they are trying to do is a lot easier than what they've already done.

statm1: Just by looking at the (long) list of changes since v3.0.4 and the general hubbub on other forums. Sorry for speculating, I didn't mean to mislead

No need to be sorry Kudos, I was just asking. Partially the reason for me asking was to see if you knew something I didn't. The dev team for phpBB rarely if ever speculates on when a release is coming. So unless Im wrong, any hubbub is more or less speculation and will not have any barring on their decision to release it now or later.

Its usually when they feel there is enough pressing need to warrant a new release like a serious bug or flaw that received a fix. To my knowledge there hasn't been a serious bug found in the latest release so who knows when 3.0.5 is going to be release. But, if you go by past release dates, 3.0.4 took 1 month from the time 3.0.3 was released and 3.0.3 took roughly 5 months to get released from when 3.0.2 was released. 3.0.2 took 3 months, so since its already been 4 months, I bet we will see a beta in the next month.

But anyway.. back on topic.. If theres anything left to talk about..
