There are other factors, too, but with the biggest being day to day priorities and keeping this forum easily updatable, everything doesn't get done immediately. Think of this not as a "No," but more of a "In the future if there's time, when there's time."
IMO - Adding a RSS FEED to this forum will not affect upgrading to phpBB 3. It adds nothing to the database, only the templates are changed, which will all be replaced when upgrading.

Does ANYONE have the time yet?
