BlogThis! Support

Post by provis » Mon Mar 08, 2004 10:11 am

Hi!

Was wondering if Avant Browser plans to include Blogthis in the future? It'll be MOST helpful :)

And I can finally uninstall Firefox for good! :)

Also, is there any way to include IEBooster options into Avant Browser's context menu?

Thaks!

Yes, I'd like to see the Blog This button available as an option. It's a handy little thing. I have created a Link to it, but somehow it's not the same, and I never think to use it without that logo being there.

One other thing you could do provis is use Google Toolbar 2, which has the button on it. But as Avant does almost everything the toolbar does it's a bit of a waste of space. What I do us have it installed but not normally displayed.

I don't know about IEBooster. IE plugins that add to the context menu usually do work, but this one looks a bit complicated...

Could you give urls for these programs so that they may be looked at by others?
You can post about them HERE

I found this right-click plugin for IE that also works with Avant. Check it out here....

I installed blogthis using that setup file from that link that you provided m34tw4d, but after installing it and clicking anywhre on the page where the setup file was I received the following message:

winBlogger is null or not an object

Does anybody why this occurs and and how I can fix this problem?
Thanks
Dave

Blogging

Post by mrniceguy37 » Wed Feb 21, 2007 9:51 pm

I guess I should apologize for the late post about it. I'm trying to get into blogging, but am having somewhat of a difficult time deciding on what program or service to use. That is why I came here to see if there was a button or plug in to easily blog on a subject or a news article I've read on the Net. I think I'll go for Windows Live Writer since it got a good review from Zdnet (though I think it may be Cnet now). I would like a program or extension like right clicking and blogging about something instead of opening a new program up and making a comment on some news article or message post. Oh, and another reason for the late post; I'm a post kidney transplant, volunteer, looking for a paying job, and a wife. Okay, maybe not a wife, at least not yet. Everything else is keeping me pretty busy and the reason for the late post
