Allow all punctuation to work in Search Bar

Post by hornakapopolis » Mon Nov 21, 2016 5:46 am

The "Find in Page" (or whatever its 'official' name is) ignores stings with punctuation.

I haven't figured out exactly what it's doing with commas, but it ignores periods. So, if you have a number, like 1.600, in the search bar and press the 'Find in Page' button, it will bring no results.

Avant will highlight '1' or '600' individually, but that isn't useful. And it won't match '1600' at all.

I love this feature, but just wish it worked this 20% of the time I need it to do this.
