One needs the Find function so often that, in my view, it would be really helpful if a standard button could be provided for this. I know it's accessible at the top of the Tools menu (or Ctrl+F), but a button will be so helpful. It has been raised before http://forum.avantbrowser.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=29804&p=175628&hilit=find+button#p175628

Thanks.

Isn't the "Find" on the Search [tool]Bar what you're looking for? You would type your text into the search box and then click on Find.

Yes, I see what you are getting at, although the 'Find on This Page' box has a number of useful options which aren't available via your method.
Since the Tool already exists in Avant, I was really just asking for a button to make it easier to access.

So you want a search button which has the same options with Ctrl+F?

That would be fine - as long as there is a button (or optional button) to access it please!

Personally I don't like the search bar taking up valuable space. A button would really be nice....

Why don't you like using ctrl+F?

With all the apps that use hotkeys, it's almost impossible to remember them all. A button would resolve that little problem. ;)
My shortcut app (SlickRun) don't use hotkeys, I just start typing the name of the app I want to run and it's auto-complete function takes over, then all you have to do is hit enter and your app is up and running. So the only hotkey that I need to remember is Windows-Q to tell slickrun to pop up it's text box, then slickrun takes care of the rest.

If we add a button to show the "find on this page" dialog, then the additional search icons on the search bar become redundant. Other users may like them to be there.
