First i have to say that the text marking feature that AB has is the Best.
It helps me allot.
But since all browser now can choose to install more search engines i miss this in AB.
I have fixed it now to set 'Search for news' to search wikipedia.
At least let us choose the text so i can change 'Search for news' to Wikipedia
More search engines like in IE and FF

Re: More search engines like in IE and FF
Actually this is a great idea and one that I never thought to ask for. I don't use the default search text box providers and have changed them (directories is changed to driving directions) for example, but it would be sweet if we could add our own search parameters and description for the dropdown.
I do use the quick search function, but having it in the text box with drop down options would be awesome.

As a sneaky workaround, you can try to change the text in the language localisation files. They are located in the Avant folder in a sub-folder named Lang. For example, the English file is named "Avant Browser\Lang\eng.lng". Try replacing the text for "news", then reload the file with Tools >> Interface Language.
