No Click at the wheel.

Post by LeMishoK » Fri Apr 17, 2009 7:51 pm

Hi.
There is a problem about using some models of Logitech mouses and Avant. Why? Because some of models (for example RX1500) do not have a wheel-click, bcs this feature used as changing scroll, so there is no click.
But using other mouses I got used to open links in new window by clicking on a wheel.

So my request.
1. I do not have a mid-click, but I have a left-right scroll, so maybe there is a possibility to click left or right to open a link in new window.
2. Maybe you can add a new menu in mouse gestures "open link in new window".

I have had this problem too. I recently bought a Microsoft i-point mouse that has its own programmable features. I still have the wheel click but I could only choose from their list of tasks. What you can do is click and drag. Just click and hold on the left button and drag away from the text, picture, etc until you see a semi-transparent, checkered rectangle with "shortcut" icon. I'm so used to this gesture now, I find myself trying to use it on other browsers without even thinking.
