Make ctrl+n tab focus a seperate option

Post by Psykocyber » Fri Sep 05, 2008 2:17 pm

In 11.7, the option "Always create new browsing window in the" also applies the ctrl+n option. But, I want all new tabs opened with ctrl+n to be opened in the foreground, but all other, in the background. Just like in the old versions.

So I request either a switch to the old ways, or an option to each.

I concur with this completely. I have always considered, although until the recent changes I wasn't aware of it, the creation of new tabs with ctrl+N and new tabs created by opening links in a new window to be separate features with different requirements.

What do you mean when you say "all others?" How are you opening these tabs?

Shift + click on links and just clicking on links that open pages in a new window.
