AB Extension Pack

This is just a thread for those wanting to request or submit additions for the AB Extension Pack (I'd not noticed the old thread I linked to, was no longer available).

Steve--does the ext pack work with version 11?

I know--probably a dumb question, but I'm not using the on-line stuff and I can't tell how things intergrate as well anymore.

Note, due to an on-going DDOS attack, the mysteryfcm.co.uk server is temporarily unavailable.

This unfortunately, also means any extensions from the ABEP that make use of this server, will also not work.

Hey, I just downloaded the extension and installed it and added the add-ons I wanted... I finished installing and picking the add-ons, then I restarted Avant Browser but noticed NO new functions, where do I access all these wonderful extensions...? I don't see any new changes to how Avant looks nor does my right click yield any new options.

Thank you.

UPDATE

I feel like an idiot.. I just clicked customize and selected the extensions, sorry to waste you're time :oops:

Just a bit of an update about the Wikipedia look up plug-in... When it forms the highlighted text into a URL it uses the "+" instead of a space but Wikipedia uses the "_" (Underscore) symbol instead of a space... Just to let you know if you want to fix it up or anything... Thank you very much for your hard work.

Not a very good way to get help .......

You've got a corrupted .ini (configuration) file. Open the AB Extension Pack program files folder and delete the following files;

ABEP.ini
ABEP_Ext.ini

Then restarted this Program.

I dont think that I need this so much.
If this Problem get not fixed, I'll deinstall it.

For some reason I can't get the Send to Notepad or Wikipedia lookup to work. Everything else seems to be fine.

Great extension pack by the way. :thumbup:

Can you tell me;

1. What actually happens when you try using them?
2. If the other extensions work, or if they also fail?
3. Which version of IE and Windows you are using?
4. Whether you have Javascript and ActiveX enabled or disabled?

1. They don't show up at all when right clicking on highlighted text.

2. Other extensions seem to work great.

3. IE 7.0.5730.17 and WinXP SP3

4. Java is enabled and it looks like activeX is disabled for the most part (a lot of options, almost all are disabled).

Shasha,
Please bear in mind, there is a limit on the amount of extensions you can have enabled (there's no way around this unfortunately as it's a limit that is hard coded into the system). Please try disabling all other extensions except those you are having problems with, and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Hello bro your saying it is your personal server under denial of service = dos attack why would someone or likley more than one person is doing this . Can you get there ip addresses as i am sure we don't need that kind of thing .I have seen this type of thing before but after attack is over these people then hacked the server and posted conversion of me a admin to another admin plus posted a list of members by there real names this was years ago but i remember all kinds of people were doing this for fun. It is something i will never forget it .
